About the treatment

Anti-wrinkle treatments are non-surgical cosmetic procedures designed to reduce or eliminate wrinkles and fine lines, typically by relaxing muscles with a prescription medication called Botox ®.

Anti-wrinkle treatments use a medical prescription drug called Botox ®. Botox ® is a brand name for a drug made from a toxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. When injected into the face, Botox ® blocks the signals from the nerves to the muscles, preventing them from contracting.

This muscle relaxation treatment aims to create a more youthful appearance by smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles that are often caused by repeated muscle movements (like frowning or squinting).
